DATE TO BE CONFIRMED

ADPP runs networking events where we can raise subjects and discuss issues amongst our peers. All events are held under Chatham House Rule.

Our inaugural event in Edinburgh has been postponed from April 2nd and rescheduled for 2021 depending on government guidelines.

It will start with a panel discussion followed by a drinks and canapes networking reception where we can continue the discussion on the following topics (and others)

Panel discussion:

Does a DPO need to be a Lawyer?

How to win hearts and minds of all colleagues? Winning hearts and Minds of colleagues and addressing the "I hate GDPR/ It stops me doing my job" complaint!

We discuss how many of our members and speakers have addressed the issues relating to company culture and attitude towards GDPR - how did you achieve acceptance?

Are you still struggling for attention / budget / buy in from your colleagues?

We will review actual case studies to see how these others have succeeded. With some ideas on approach and tactics
